What the Pantone Fashion Colours Report?
Well they are used as the source by retailers and journalists it is a report of a survey conducted by Pantone to decide the most prominent colours for the season from the New York Fashion Week. This year autumnal hues, beige and light gray, sophisticated lilac, purple and teal blue, red, fuchsia, soft pink and their combinations are on. Warmer colours like yellow and an earthy shade of orange, a darker version of this spring’s tangerine are also popular. Super-shiny metallics also starred on the runways, with shimming gowns in silver, bronze and gold.
Leatrice Eiseman of Pantone reported that, considering the present economic slack the designers need to offer vibrant colors so as to entice the costumer to buy this.
The color palette this summer was red used in clothes, accessories, shoes in shades of pomegranate, strawberry, raspberry, and in various tones. Red symbolizes love and passion, natural sensuality, charm of her femininity, and elegance. As it is a strong color you will appear dynamic, original, determined and prepared to achieve the goals.
As the new growth sprouts everywhere and the grass turns green, another welcome color of the season is green, subtle yet lively, cheerful yet elegant the color of prosperity. The designers like Pucci, YSL, Hermes, Schouler, Lanvin and Loui Vuitton liberally used jade, leaf green, olive green and mints in the gowns, dresses and accessories.
Versace and Nina Ricci were partial to the gold as it looks exceptionally rich and enhances the woman’s natural sparkle. The sheers and layers gowns look very elegant on formal evenings enhanced by accessories like shoes, handbags, belts, pouchettes embellished with pearls, crystals and precious stones are perfect for parties.
